Ulan, a descendant of Silverfrond's, oversees the Dragon Museum, an institution that holds a wealth of knowledge on dragons, and a place once called home by Silverfrond himself. Begotten of a forbidden act of love committed by his ancestor, which bore indiscriminate suffering unto all who were involved regardless of race, Ulan despises Silverfrond and is resolved to keep from committing the same mistake his ancestor made.
