My master would oft call us all over in order to check upon our progress. His means of testing said progression? The Gladios, the most sacred of battles fought betwixt weapons crafted by each Dehkima. As one might rightly assume, the desire to overcome all others burned strongly within my heart. To overcome all others and demonstrate I was worthy enough to bear my master's mantle... To not fail and be a blemish upon my master's good name. I yearned with my entire being to be that successor.Thus I threw myself into my work, working tirelessly, never ceasing, determined to be the very best I could be! I read over my master's teachings, then read over them again. And again. I would also watch my actions and guard my thoughts so they might not inadvertently bring dishonor to my master. And in doing so, I have never lost. Not even once. Ever. The looks the other Dehkimas cast in my direction lend only to further fuel the fire in my soul.
