January 11 I arrived at the place the otters told me to go. I greeted the divine entity that dwelt deep inside the cave. The divine entity that they worshipped were the Root Nymph. I reached out and was greeted by a mystical root that reciprocated and covered my hands. I felt a tickle as the root touched my skin and I realized that this isn't a dream. My experience with the Root Nymph made me think about a lot of things. I wondered what my god would look like, and whether it'd be possible for someone like me to physically reach out to my god. I wondered about the kind of prayers the otters offered to the Root Nymph. Judging from their simplistic lifestyle, I am certain that their prayers are simple and naive like that of a little child. And the Root Nymph will hear their prayer regardless of how simple or trivial that prayer may be. Because that's what god does.
