Prior to the Great Expedition, the pirates of Kuit Islands were starving for some action. Then, they heard of the news coming from Velia and began planning a grand strategy to infiltrate various islands and steal from novice sailors. However, none of the pirates were keen on leaving the Kuit Islands. While talking among themselves, someone threw a torch into the barracks, which caught on fire. This caused resulted in war among them. Haim drew the event unfolding before him, but later ended up being discovered by the pirates, who burned up all of the drawings.
