The knights searched far and wide using their agent, the Shadow's Pawn, for a body suitable to host their Lord's resurrection. They finally found their quarry in Jordine.
With the merging of the Lord of Darkness and the body of Jordine, the enraptured Shadow Knights knelt and offered oaths of fealty.
