December 25 My first ever frigate was destroyed by the fierce rulers of the sea. Black Rust and Hekaru broke my poor frigate in half, and Goldmont Pirates plundered everything I had. Thankfully, I was saved by an otter called Katio. Captain Katio's ship was heading towards an island called ‘Oquilla's Eye‘, and I was told about Nampo Harbor on our way there. I would have liked to stay there longer but I need to return to Port Epheria as soon as possible because I am participating in a swimming competition there. Captain Katio offered to take me across the great ocean to Port Epheria if I earn my keep on his ship. ‘Since you like swimming,‘ he said, ‘you can help us fish and gather 10,000 shrimp, 10,000 lobster, and 9,900 coral pieces. Oh, and 100 skate and blackfin sea perch.‘ That is how I ended up on Captain Katio's ship. The work is tough, but on the bright side I found the prettiest coral piece. I think I'll just keep it for myself and not tell the captain! I wonder how much longer I have to wait until I'm back at Port Epheria. Captain Katio is teaching me how to swim even faster, so I'm confident that I'll be the winner of the swimming competition!
