Death-stained Earth Having isolated myself in the dark cave, my endless trails and research continued. I had to find a way to stop this tragedy, somehow. Disregarding the passage of time, I focused my efforts on eliminating Hadum's power. Trudging through failure after failure, I eventually came upon the final solution. I found the sole power which could resist Hadum's might. This strange power, known as the Black Spirit, could oppose to Hadum's aura. There was no time for delay. Seeing it as my last hope, I combined the power of the Black Spirit with the black sapling, and the tree lost all of its power, recovering its original light. The crystal, once the tree's vessel, was knocked away from the collision and vanished somewhere in the laboratory. Believing that I had driven out Hadum, and unable to contain the joy that followed, the voice returned to me, louder and deeper than before... ‘My son. I granted you eternal life, and yet, why do you draw your sword against me? Even if you keep your sword drawn against me, nothing can be changed. I have already arrived in this place, led by your hand.‘ Filled with disgust, I fled out of the cave, where I discovered that, while I was in the cave, the world had become covered in darkness.
