With the power of the Black Stone, Giath came to inhabit the body of a mighty warrior. That warrior was none other than Croxus Antonio, Guard Captain of Bartali III in Elionian Year 135, who forfeited his life when he dared to admonish his king for attempting to sacrifice a young maiden and child to attain immortality. The Immortal Alchemist said the ritual must go on, and the enraged king had Croxus executed, and his ashes scattered over Ehwaz Hill... A loyal subject who met a tragic end, only to lose his very flesh as well.
