January 26 Well, that was unexpected! I didn't think there would be a hunter who hunted a bear bigger than the Brown Bear I bagged. The little child sulkily looked at the ground knowing that the hunting contest would be over soon. I, Igor Bartali of Balenos, couldn't let things end like this. I eavesdropped on some of the hunters as I was taking a short break. One of them said he spotted a giant crocodile at a lake nearby. I had to beat them to the lake if I wanted to have any chance of winning the contest. I put the little child on top of Rosie and hurriedly searched for traces of the crocodile. Fortunately, I was able to find the crocodile, but it wasn't an easy opponent. I had to wait until the animal made its way to the surface before I could fire my matchlock. I also needed to fire more than once in order to penetrate the crocodile's thick hide. I focused, caught my breath, and cleared my mind... Inhale, exhale... Bang! Bang! The bullet ripped through the air and went straight to the crocodile's head. The child and I carefully went close and looked at the lifeless animal.
